Seah Chee Wei (also known as Rick) is experienced in handling diverse matters such as litigation support, investigations, judicial management, scheme of arrangement, individual voluntary arrangement, receivership and liquidation. His insolvency portfolio includes Tang Dynasty theme park, Sogo Departmental stores, Crown Prince Hotel and mainboard-listed companies such as Showpla Asia Limited and Citiraya Industries Ltd.

Besides insolvency work, he also performed services such as litigation support, corporate governance reviews and forensic audits. His portfolio includes several SGX-listed companies and a large church organization.

Rick started as an auditor in Ernst & Young after graduation from Nanyang Business School (NTU) in June 1996. After 2 years being trained as an external auditor, he moved to the Corporate Advisory department of Ernst & Young where he specialized in corporate restructuring assignments for about 9 years. When he left Ernst & Young in April 2007, he was appointed the financial controller of a SGX-listed company and he subsequently became the finance director of 2 local advertising firms under the well-known multinational WPP Group for a period of about 3 years. He later joined Stone Forest Corporate Advisory Pte Ltd to perform corporate and individual insolvency assignments for a period of 4.5 years from April 2010 to September 2014. Rick became a director of Acutus Advisory Pte from 1 October 2014 to 31 July 2016 specializing in corporate restructuring and insolvency engagements. With effect from 1 August 2016, Rick has started his own practice offering corporate restructuring, insolvency and mediation services under his company Rock Stevenson Pte Ltd.
